ASPA Tuition Waiver Information

What is the Tuition Waiver?
The ASPA Tuition Waiver benefit provides members with the right to have tuition fees waived for a credit or credit-equivalent course. The waiver may be used once per academic term (Fall, Winter, Spring Summer), for courses taken at the University of Saskatchewan. Student fees are not waived.

How much is covered?
The maximum value of the waiver in each academic term is equivalent to the tuition cost of a Category 6 three-credit undergraduate course. Graduate and fixed-fee programs may have their fees waived, up to the per-term maximum.

Provided that space is available in the course, the tuition for auditing one six-credit course or equivalent, per academic term, will be waived.

Student Fees are NOT included in the waiver, and must be paid in full by the member.

How Do I Apply?
This is a waiver, not a reimbursement or refund, so members may apply in advance of registering in the course for which they wish to waive tuition. Members must apply prior to the fee payment deadline for the term in which the course is being taken.

The waiver application is accessed through Student Accounts and Treasury in the Financial Services Division. The application form is available at:
